Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

A homestead in service of God

Located in rural Alaska in a little village, our goal is a simple, sustainable life that serves the Most High God above all else. We strive to find a way to help people the best that we can, that fits into the very busy and full life that He has blessed us with. We believe that He has given us this beautiful earth and everything that we need in it to keep us healthy in spirit, mind, and body. While sin has spoiled so much in the world, we seek to see the good and give as much of it as we can to others and live in a way that gives hope and encourages others to find God’s Shalom.

A Unique Life

Living as rural as we do can pose a lot of tangibility issues for farming. The land that we live on was deemed unfarmable previously and we have had to fight the odds at every turn to prove that no matter where you are, the impossible can be done if you have God fighting on your behalf. We have a 342 mile round trip to get hay, jobs are scarce and hard to acquire within a reasonable distance from home, and resources require equipment to gather, and that equipment requires a lot of maintenance, which you had better learn quickly how to do it yourself. The soil in our gardens is the result of years of building up with compost and manure from the previous owners’ years of paving this pathway. Everything we know about gardening or farming up here has come from trial and error, we have learned more from the school of hard knocks than I care to admit. Every time we find ourselves being knocked down, Abba lifts us back up, start to finish this whole adventure has been Him orchestrating, which is why we decided to call our homestead In His Hands Homestead. Truly everything that we have, do, or reach for is in His hands.

How often will there be new products?

The shop will be updated as soon as each product becomes available. Sometimes that may take a little while as some of the remedies take a few weeks to make and shipping in supplies isn’t always the most time effective. Certain herbs will only be available for a short period in the summertime, so hang in there with us.

What is your refund policy?

Unfortunately, no refunds will be available. Due to the cost of shipping and return shipping, it is not going to be an option.

Can herbalism replace my allopathic medicine?

That is something only you and your Health Practioner can decide. We are in no way a replacement for your doctor and herbalism is not a medical practice. The remedies we offer MAY help relieve symptoms or create enough balance in your body to heal your ailments, but it is never a guarantee, just like any allopathic medication. Nothing is one size fits all.

Can we visit the Homestead?

If you are local you can! Eventually we do plan on setting up an Airbnb, but for now, if you are local to Alaska, you can plan a homestead field trip with your kids, meet our animals and have a tour of the farm and visit for the day July 1-September 30. You can schedule here.

Can I purchase an animal from you?

You can! Every spring, we have a good number of births, and those babies are always looking for new homes. Our livestock are not the best for breeding stock, but for meat animals, pets, pack animals, and brush removers or lawnmowers, they do a mighty fine job. They can, of course, be bred, it’s just that we don’t breed the finest quality animals by the standard of the professionals, only ones that we love.
