Welcome to our Homestead 

We are a family of five, a husband, a wife, and three children living and growing together on a small farm in rural Alaska. Over seventy-five animals live with us on the homestead between livestock and pets. Our family is constantly increasing in our knowledge of homesteading, gardening, herbalism, and the lifestyle that comes with living in such a unique place.

Right in our back yard is the largest stretch of untapped wilderness in the entire world, the Wrangell-St. Elias national park combined with Canada’s neighboring Kluane (clue-on-ee) National Park which adds up to about 24 million acres. Where we live, it’s a 120+ mile round trip to & from any small towns, about 65 to 80 miles in either direction to get to a grocery store. We have a goal to get ourselves off the grid and become as self-sufficient as possible to make living where we do more functional and fruitful.

We were featured in National Geographic’s spin off series Life Below Zero: The Next Generation, starting in Season 5, Episode 7 all the way through the end of the series, we are the Brown Family.

A Set Apart Approach

We believe in natural, simple living that glorifies The Most High God, YHWH through His Son, Yeshua our Messiah. Everything that we do first and foremost belongs to Him, is for Him, and is about Him and furthering His kingdom. God alone gave us all of the resources that are available to us. Ultimately, He allows us to put it all to good use, for His purposes and our betterment and enjoyment.

Here at In His Hands Homestead, we strive to put faith first in everything that we do, small or great. Healing, healthy living, and over all wellbeing begins with a growing relationship with our Father in Heaven. No remedy, healthy lifestyle, or amount of knowledge is going to cure, heal, or fix anything without His hand, will, and permission, just like putting a bandage on a bullet hole isn’t going to stop the wound from bleeding.

We strive to provide you with the highest quality products with resources that are wildcrafted or homegrown or obtained through reputable sources. If available, we will always choose to use organic ingredients in our products. Every batch of products is prayed over with our customers in mind. We want you to experience healing in more than a physical sense, but more importantly, a spiritual one, which can be found in Messiah alone.
